About the Role
This is a new role at JHP. The primary purpose is to keep our three practice locations clean, safe and welcoming for staff and patients.
Core responsbilities may include:
- Minor maintenance and repairs such as replacing fuses or light bulb, repairing paint work or windows, unblocking drains.
- Carrying out cleaning duties as needed udring the day, and covering in the absence of cleaning staff.
- Regualr testing of fire alarms and ensuring firefighting equipment is maintained
- Gritting entrances in icy weather
- Monitoring and miaintains the heating and water systems, ensuring all three lcoations are kept at a comfortable temperature.
- Managing delivery of supplies
- Comply with wider policies and procedures in line with Health and Safety requirements.

About You
We are looking for a self-motivated, well organised and reliable person who will provide a key role in maintaining our practice sites, to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for the whole practice community. They will have good communication skills, liaising with the Practice Managers and wider leadership team.
They will also be responsible for managing the health & safety requirements of the practice, including the maintenance of statutory and non-statutory records. Ideally you will be practical with a range of DIY skills that would support the maintenance and repairs of the practice.
