Bio

I trained at Newcastle Medical School and graduated in 1999. I completed my GP training in 2004 (MRCGP exam May 2004) and have worked across the North East since then. I joined JHP as a salaried GP part-time in May 2022.

I specialise in women’s health, gaining the Diploma of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2003 and have continued to recertify my Diploma of the Faculty of Family Planning and Reproductive Medicine since 2004.

I fit and remove both coils and contraceptive implants.

I enjoy the challenge of General Practice but have a particular interest in providing good palliative care.

I also enjoy training younger doctors and am trained as an F2 Clinical Supervisor.
