What I Do

As an Advanced Paediatric Nurse Practitioner, I be work within the Same Day Access Service alongside other members of the team. I see children up to aged 16 with a range of conditions which would often previously be seen by a GP. I can assess their condition and work out how best to manage their health, whether that's monitoring, a referral to another service, hospital admission or prescribing medication.
