Medications NOT on Repeat

You can use Salvie to ask queries or update the practice about medication that is NOT on repeat. Need more of the cream we gave you? Update us on how you are doing with a new medication? Send your Doctor an update via Salvie.

Repeat Prescriptions

The easiest way to request repeat prescriptions is by using the NHS App or through our online service, SystmOnline. Click your preferred option below for instructions.

Please allow 48 hours from requesting your prescription to collection.

The App is available as a free download for iOS and Android, and you can set up access in just a few simple steps. No visit to the practice is necessary – just download and follow the instructions in the link below.

Setting up your NHS login

In the App, you can view your current prescriptions on the bottom menu, or click the option to Order a Repeat Prescription.

You can also nominate a pharmacy to have your prescription sent directly to through the app.
If you have already signed up for online services, click the link below to go to SystmOnline.

Once logged in, click on the Medication menu and then Request Medication.

You can also choose a pharmacy to have your prescription sent directly to.

If you haven’t yet signed up for online services, please call the Reception Team on 0191 281 4588 and they can explain the process.
You can also order a prescription in person by visiting us at either 17 or 200 Osborne Road and speaking to the Reception team.

We're open between 8 am and 6 pm, Monday to Friday.
Alternately, you can leave a message on our repeat prescription phone line. To do this, call 0191 281 4588 and choose option 5.

Please leave your full name, date of birth and the details of the medication you are requesting.

As of December 2019, our policy is that prescriptions will only be available to pick up from No.17 Osborne Road.

Or if you prefer, you can nominate a pharmacy of your choice to have your prescriptions sent directly to. Ask a member of the Reception team about how to set this up.
