Sexual Safety, Respectful Behaviour and Reporting a Concern
At Jesmond Health Partnership we are committed to maintaining a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for staff, patients, visitors and contractors.
We take all concerns relating to sexual harassment, inappropriate behaviour, or sexual misconduct seriously.
Zero Tolerance
We have zero tolerance for:
- Sexual harassment
- Unwanted sexual comments or jokes
- Inappropriate touching
- Sexual advances or gestures
- Intimidating or offensive behaviour
This applies to staff, patients, visitors, and contractors.
Expected Behaviours
We expect everyone to:
- Treat others with respect and dignity
- Maintain professional boundaries
- Help create a safe and supportive environment
Our Sexual Safety Lead is available to support staff and ensure that concerns are managed in line with NHS guidance.
By working together, we aim to ensure that everyone feels safe, respected, and supported when accessing or working within our services.
Report a Concern
We encourage anyone who experiences or witnesses inappropriate behaviour to report it as soon as possible. Reports can be made confidentially and may be submitted anonymously.
All concerns will be taken seriously, handled sensitively, and reviewed appropriately.
