Bio

I have been a qualified nurse since 1997 and I am now an Advanced Nurse Practitioner with specialist expertise in elderly care and frailty, providing weekly care home ward rounds, as well as leading and supporting the practice nursing team.

Within my role, I provide comprehensive assessment, treatment, and ongoing review of patients, working within the wider multidisciplinary team. I also play a key role in strengthening partnerships with local care homes, helping to embed the Enhanced Health in Care Homes  framework to improve patient outcomes, promoting dignity and ensuring safe, person centred care.

I have a special interest in improving care for patients with Dementia and enjoy teaching and supporting students.
