We Are Open

Season’s Greetings from Jesmond Health Partnership

As we approach the festive season, we want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

We hope you are able to relax and enjoy this special time of you with family and friends.

It’s traditionally a time of year to treat ourselves, but it’s important our bodies still get the vitamins and protein they need to stay healthy. Keep up your fruit and veg intake among the other festive delights.

Stay hydrated, too. When we’re indoors a lot with the heating on, we can get dehydrated without knowing it. Make sure to have plenty of non-alcoholic, non-caffeinated drinks alongside your favourite festive tipple.

Remember, Christmas can be tough for some of us. If you’re out and about, remember to check in on older or frail relatives and neighbours – your kindness could make all the difference.

The NHS is here to help, but please use services properly. For non-urgent concerns, consider visiting your local pharmacy or using NHS 111 online. Remember, NHS staff are there to help you rather than spending time with their loved ones, so treat them with respect.

Take care of yourself and others this holiday season, and thank you for being part of our community.

With best wishes, the team at Jesmond Health Partnership
