About the Role

The role of Treatment Room Nurse will be an integral part of our growing range of innovative, patient-focused services.

Typical duties will include vaccinations and immunisations, sexual health service, cervical cytology, chronic disease and wound management, venipuncture and general nursing duties.

This is a post with many opportunities for professional progression. The successful candidate will also have a personalised training programme developed for them, encouraging and supporting them to gain valuable clinical skills.

About You

You will be a Registered General Nurse with a recognised qualification to diploma level or above, with at least one year’s post-qualification nursing experience.

The ideal candidate will be ambitious and keen to grow their clinical skills as part of their professional development. Qualifications or certificates in the management of diabetes, respiratory conditions, cytology or travel health would be advantageous.

As well as good competency in basic nursing, good English language, communication skills and IT literacy, you will ideally have a working knowledge of the SystmOne clinical system and QoF and enhanced services in a primary care setting.
