Two-thirds of all adults – more than 35 million people have now received at least one dose of covid-19 vaccination. Over 17 million have also received their second jab, giving longer and stronger protection.

Vaccine availability for all groups remains the same as our last update. First doses are available for everyone in priority groups 1-10, with the 40-44-year-old group the most recent to become eligible.

If you are aged 40 or over (or will turn 40 before 1 July), follow the link to book your covid-19 vaccination appointment.

The latest figures can be found on the Government vaccine dashboard.

All appointments for those aged 40-49 are being scheduled through the national booking system, with appointments at the mass vaccinations sites – the nearest being Centre for Life in Newcastle (details in our vaccines FAQ). You will be able to book your first and second vaccination appointments at the same time,

We can’t access this booking system through the practice, so would ask patients to book themselves and please not contact us.

Clinics for second doses are released weekly and will be 11-12 weeks after your first dose. We are continuing to recalling patients for their second jabs who received their first in the weeks beginning 15th and 22nd February.
