Due to a system error, text messages have seen sent to over 500 patients in the 50-54 age group asking them to book a covid vaccination. It’s a sequence of two messages – firstly saying you will be invited to book, the second with how to book and allows you to respond.
These messages related only to first doses, and have erroneously been sent to people who have already had the first jab.
If you have received these messages and have already had your first vaccine, please disregard them. You will be recalled for your second dose 11-12 weeks after your first.
If you have NOT yet had your first vaccine, then you can respond to the second message and book your appointment.
We apologise for this confusion and ask patients not to call the practice about first or second jabs, but to wait to be contacted.
