KATIE DAVIDSON

Reception Team Lead

Last autumn we launched a brand new patient registration system, making it easier than ever to become a patient at JHP.

The process was 100% online, meaning you could register from anywhere, at any time, and from any device. Now we’ve made it even better.

We’ve now built ID verification right into the process, meaning no follow-up requests for information or unnecessary trips to the practice with your passport or driving license.

It works by letting you upload a photo of your identification, then record a short video of you saying a randomly generated code. If you’re on a computer you can use a webcam or the front-facing selfie camera on your phone or tablet.

This means you can get online access to your health records at the same time as we process your registration.

As soon as you’re successfully registered, you’ll get a text or email confirmation, including your login details to our online services.

Straight away you’ll be able to see your health records, including vaccination history and current medication. You can also request repeat prescriptions and choose a pharmacy to have them sent to.

Here’s a rundown of all the convenient, timesaving features of our patient registration process:

  • 100% online through our website – nothing to print or download.
  • Easy to use on your computer, tablet, or phone.
  • Only enter key information once – no need to repeat yourself.
  • Logical and intuitive layout meaning you only need to fill out the parts relevant to you.
  • Suitable for registering yourself, a child, dependant, or a care home resident.
  • Streamlined process with built-in ID verification and quick online access

At JHP we’re committed to providing our patients with the best possible experience. That starts right from the point your register with us.
