Using our services from home

During these strange and difficult times, there are several ways you can still use our services when you need them, without needing to come to the practice.

Our Doctors are doing patient consultations over the phone in the first instance, with in person appointments arranged when necessary,

We’ve also recently launched ‘eConsult’ a new online tool for patients to get advice and guidance on a range of issues. 

You’ll be prompted to answer questions, just as a Doctor would ask in person. Depending on your condition and need, you might be directed to online resources or a Pharmacist for example, or a message can be sent to our Doctors.

One of our GPs will reply by the end of the next day and may ask you to make an appointment or suggest another course of action.

eConsult is easy to use and a welcome addition to the services we can offer patients at this time.

If you need a prescription or have regular medication, you can also opt to have it sent directly to a pharmacy of your choice. Many pharmacies will also be able to deliver to your home.  If you are registered to use our online services, you can nominate a pharmacy through that system, or you can call us on 0191 281 4588.

As well as being convenient, patients using these facilities rather than coming to the practice, will also reduce the risk of illness spreading.
